  • Education: (PSSES) executes educational programs, training and workshops over the issue of national energy efficiency and renewable energy development, and that includes lectures in schools, universities and other academic institutions.
  • Conducting research: (PSSES) stimulates and encourages both fundamental and applied research in energy efficiency and renewable energy; by publishing brochures and executing projects aiming at increasing the awareness about energy efficiency and renewable energy and their applications in Palestine, and studying the feasibility of different forms of energy efficiency and renewable energy.
  • Project Implementation: (PSSES) implements projects to ensure individual and community growth through support of private enterprises and empowerment in the area of renewable energy and energy efficiency. (PSSES) also made progress in the Building Information Modeling (BIM) project for energy efficiency in the public sector, which aims to support innovative and cost-effective rehabilitation processes related to building types and climatic zones, with a focus on public buildings to reach the Energy Efficiency for Heritage Construction Model (EE-HBIM). This project is funded by the EU under the ENI CBC Med Program.
